The artistic process of Choong-Sup Lim transcends the divide between nature and culture and, as such, his work explores the noise of modern culture with an appreciation for reflective tranquility.
Throughout his career, Mr. Lim has participated in prestigious exhibitions at the Samsung Museum of Modern Art (Seoul), the Smithsonian Institution-Hirshorn Museum (Washington DC), as well as having works in the permanent collections of the National Museum of Contemporary Art (Seoul) and the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York). In 2010 he was the recipient of the Se-Joong Kim Sculpture Award.
